Celebrating 250 Years of Transatlantic Relations

The Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress cordially invites you to a networking reception celebrating 250 years of transatlantic ties. From the earliest days of the United States, the partnership with France planted the seeds of enduring cooperation across the Atlantic. As America approaches its 250 anniversary, it is fitting to honor the transatlantic alliance that has been foundational to the nation’s success. The Center is undertaking that work by highlighting the role of scientific and technological cooperation in advancing the transatlantic alliance with the goal of reflecting on our shared past to deliver a prosperous and united future. We hope you’ll join us as we gather leaders and friends across the diplomatic, scientific, and business communities to honor all that we have achieved together.

The Center is a non-partisan, Washington, D.C.–based convener of leaders and experts from the government, private sector, and academia that works to foster bipartisan solutions to America’s most pressing challenges.
