Dwight D. Eisenhower: The Lessons & Legacy of President Eisenhower for 21st Century Grand Strategy & Leadership

On January 15, 2013, CSPC, in association with The Eisenhower Foundation, convened a roundtable discussion of historians, policymakers, members of the think-tank community, and business leaders to discuss the lessons and legacy of President Dwight D. Eisenhower.

CSPC believes that Ike’s legacy has much to teach the leaders of today, a belief that was corroborated by the discussion during this event. This report, based on that discussion, highlights the areas of Ike’s legacy that would prove most helpful for both President Obama’s second term—as well as future presidencies.
