Mr. Renner serves as Vice President for External Affairs & Board Relations at CSPC. At CSPC, Hurst helps to manage day to day operations; including management of multiple large large-scale projects focused on autonomous vehicle regulation, the future of cybersecurity, government acquisition and procurement reform, the current state of conflict in Iraq and Syria, and the future of the appropriations process. Hurst is responsible for the Center's external relationships and the ongoing exposure of the Center and its programs.
In addition, he manages relations with the Center's 35 person Board of Trustees and the 15 person Board of Counselors.
He serves on the Advisory Council of the Salvation Army National Capital Area Command. He received a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of the South, in Sewanee, Tennessee.
