In a February 24th article in The Atlantic, CSPC Senior Fellow Norm Ornstein reflected on the announcement of retirement by the longest serving Congressman, John Dingell. Throughout his 58-year-career, Dingell demonstrated his passion for a wide range of issues including health, the environment, and civil rights. Ornstein commented that even though Dingell is leaving Congress, his legacy has made a immense and lasting impact on American politics.
