Dr. Victoria F. Haynes is President and Chief Executive Officer of RTI International. Her career of more than 32 years has focused on technology leadership, management, and new business development. Her expertise includes: strategic business alignment and management of technology resources; the identification, evaluation, and commercialization of emerging technologies for significant new business opportunities; and the development of science and technology in multidisciplinary organizations. Before joining RTI in 1999, she was Vice President of the Advanced Technology Group and Chief Technical Officer at Goodrich Corporation. She also held managerial roles at Monsanto Company and a postdoctoral fellowship at Purdue University. Her doctoral and master's degrees are from Boston University, and her undergraduate degree in chemistry is from the University of California, Berkeley. Haynes is a member of several corporate Boards, including the Board of Directors for Archer Daniels Midland Company, Nucor Corporation, PPG Industries, and Ziptronix, Inc. She also serves on advisory Boards and committees for a number of universities and the federal government, including the Academe and Policy Research Senior Advisory Committee of the Homeland Security Advisory Council.
