The Honorable Edward L. Weidenfeld has served as Counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives' Committee of Interior and Insular Affairs, as a partner in the McKenna and Cuneo law firm, and as Counsel to the 1980 Reagan-Bush Campaign. In 1983 he founded the Weidenfeld Law Firm, P.C. Three Presidents of the United States have appointed Weidenfeld to advisory positions and he has been an official election observer in the Philippines, Korea, Pakistan, Chile and Albania. He is co-Chair of the Board of Visitors of the National Defense University, a Life Member of the American Law Institute, a member of the American Bar Association, the Bar Association of the District of Columbia, and the Philanthropic Advisors Network, a Director of the Danny and Sylvia Kaye Foundation, and is Secretary of the DC Salvation Army Advisory Board. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and Columbia University School of Law.
