Project Solarium 2017

One of the hallmarks of CSPC’s work has been its policy projects focused on the opportunities afforded by Presidential elections and the subsequent transition planning process.  During the election year, there is the opportunity for public discussion of key policy issues—providing a mandate for potential reforms—and the eventual 2016 victor has the opportunity to begin planning for their entry into the White House and to prioritize policy goals.

During the 2000 and 2008 transitions, CSPC had a series of policy projects interfacing with the transition planning process—Report to the President-elect and the Strengthening America’s Future Initiative, respectively.  In 2016, CSPC will run Project Solarium 2017, focused on providing strategic solutions for domestic reforms, foreign policy, and application of the lessons of history.
