Center Changes Name to "Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress"
The Center is proud to announce it is in the process of changing its name to the "Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress," which reflects our extensive work both on and with Capitol Hill. The impetus for this change grew out of a remark by Senator John Warner at the Center's 41st Awards Dinner. Having already launched programs on civility and bipartisan government, the Center is increasingly taking on initiatives at the behest of various Members of Congress and briefing them and their staffs on such issues as the situation in Afghanistan, science and technology policy, the Israeli-Palestinian relationship and global finance. Our new name better reflects the full range of our initiatives, our contacts and our results.
