Mr. Maury Bradsher

Maury W. Bradsher is Chairman and CEO of the private investment and holding firm District Equity ("DE"). He is a corporate financier and restructuring specialist with more than 15 years of experience investing and trading in undervalued assets. Maury combines a unique background of both investment and operational experience and has spent most of his career advising and restructuring lower to middle market defense and information technology companies. His portfolio companies represent multiple sectors within defense, healthcare, and information technology. Through DE, he serves in both strategic advisory and financing capacities. 

Prior to forming District Equity, he worked for seven years as Managing Director at Ridgewood Technology Partners--a defense, technology, and investment firm headquartered in Reston, Virginia--where he was involved in all phases of the firm's development including: overall management of the company; formulating and executing long-term strategies; and all interactions with clients, employees, investors, and other stakeholders. At Ridgewood, he led the rebuilding and recapitalization of the company into what it is today. 

In mid-2012, Maury founded Azimuth Business Solutions ("ABS")--a system engineering and software development firm. With operations in Ft. Collins, Colorado, Tampa, Florida, and Washington DC, Azimuth currently provides a wide range of enterprise IT services to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Department of State (DOS).

Additionally, Maury is the Chairman of FMAS Corporation, a Rockville, Maryland based healthcare company, founded in 1980, providing peer and medical records review for Health and Human Services (HHS), the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Office of Inspector General (OIG) in Dallas, Texas.

Among other activities, Maury has been a featured speaker at multiple domestic and international business conferences. He is a member of The Economic Club of Washington; The Turnaround Management Association ("TMA") in New York City; The Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors ("AIRA") in New York City; and The National Association of Corporate Directors ("NACD").

A native of Hurdle Mills, North Carolina, Maury earned his degrees in Economics and Corporate Finance from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, North Carolina.
