Collin N. Odell

Collin Odell supports CSPC Vice Chairman & Counselor Dr. David Abshire with the development and coordination of CSPC communications, events, and programs.  In addition, he assists Dr. Abshire write and conduct research for Center publications. Before coming to the Center, he was an intern at the United Nations Department of Public Information and for Congressman Rush Holt.  He also served as a grant writer, development consultant, and community connector for non-profits serving people with developmental disabilities.

He is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics, and a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science with a Master of Science in Global Politics.  Collin’s graduate work was primarily in peace and conflict studies, culminating with a dissertation entitled The Remobilized Combatants: Mercenaries as a Consequence of the Breakdown of DDR (Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration) in Post-Conflict Situations in Sub-Saharan Africa.
